Green With Envy
A colour trend which has recently caught my eye and is set to be huge in S/S13 is Green. From Stella McCartney to Gucci's S/S13 collections, green is the must have colour of the season. Think Katy Perry at the 2013 Grammys but with a little less..ahem cleavage! Working this trend into an outfit is simple, whether it is a laid back and casual look you are going for or want to glam it up a little..There is plenty of choice out there. Work this trend with a statement green dress and neutral accessories or keep it subtle with a green clutch or accessories. Remember less is more and there is a huge difference between rocking this trend and ending up looking like a glorified leprechaun!
Katy Perry : 2013 Grammys
And here are a few pieces I found to get you on your way to working this trend.
Geek Jumper: Miss Guided
Skinny Jeans: Miss Guided
Playsuit: Motel Rocks
I most definitley will be working this colour into my outfits and I am already on the look out for an emerald green pencil skirt to throw on with a neutral t shirt and chunky neck piece for a dressy yet casual look. Let the hours of scrolling through online stores commence! If any of you guys have any other suggestions on how you will be working this trend please do let me know. Hope you all enjoy this post. Speak very soon.

It's all about Mememe
Self obsessed title much? Well this post isn't about me, it is in fact about Mememe Cosmetics. I have being meaning to do this post since the day I discovered this little gem. I had never heard of this brand until I saw it stocked in my local Pharmacy and I suddenly realised my prayers had been answered. Mememe Cosmetics are a UK based brand which was relaunched in 2009. These products are ridiculously similar to the Benefit Cosmetic Range but for a third of the price. Yes that is right..a THIRD of the price!
The first product I picked up was the Blush Me! Blush Box in Pink. As you can see below even the packaging is similar to the Benefit Bow O' Powder range. At first glance the pink shade does look quite severe but I bought it in hope that it would be similar to the Urban Decay Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint in Crush. Which looks quite strong but not as full on when applied to the cheeks and thankfully I was right. The Blush Me! Blush Box gives a light yet noticeable tint to the cheek which you can build on if preferred. I personally prefer this blush to my Benefit blush. So much so I plan to pop back to my Pharmacy and pick up the other shades available.
Blush Me! Blush Box:Pink €10.95
The second item from the range I bought was the Correct&Perfect Concealer Kit. This is a two step concealer providing a cream concealer and a setting powder. Again..I love this! I bought it in nude and it blends so well. The coverage is really good and covers up my blemishes around my nose and chin so well. I also use the cream concealer as a base for my eyeshadow and it works perfectly. In the past I have gone through so many different concealers and I found some cream concealers had a tendency to crease and make my blemishes even more apparent. However teaming this concealer with the setting powder gives me a smooth and flawless finish and I will definitely be repurchasing.
So that's my Mememe Cosmetics Collection..So far! What do you think? Had you heard of the brand before? If so what is your favourite product from the range? Because there is so much to choose from and you can see them all here. And let's be honest a flawless make up look all the while not breaking the piggy bank..what's not to love?
Hope you enjoy this post and all feedback is welcome. Speak Soon.

The final product I picked up was a nail polish from the Nail Collection Long Lasting Gloss Range and I chose the Innocent-Nude Ivory shade. I am very impressed by this. You do require two coats to get the full effect of the nail polish but I do like the shade. It is very fresh and I find it is a brilliant base to build on with some of the Topshop Nail Art Pens. I would repurchase this product but I hope to try out some of the different shades as there are tons to choose from.

She lives.
Hiya guys!
Yes I am alive! Major apologies for my lack of posts over the erm..past few weeks! I guess you could say I had a case of cold feet. I mean who would want to read my little old blog? Was I wasting my time? Who would want to hear my opinion on all things Fashion or Beauty? I am a very humble person and I always have a tendency to question everything I do. But after a few weeks of thinking and chatting with some of the people closest to me I have decided that screw it! I started this and I will continue. Even if I don't get one follower I will still have a place to channel all my thoughts regarding Fashion,Beauty and well..life.
So I am now more determined than ever to make a go of this blog. Yes I have said it before but this time I will make a vow to post as regularly as possible. It may not be top class..it sometimes might not even make a whole lot of sense but there is one thing you can guarantee..This blog will always be honest.(That doesn't half sound cheese!).
Anyway that is enough out of me. I will speak to you all very soon.

D.I.Y.
So for the past 20 years I have always gone to a hairdresser. But yesterday I finally took the plunge and decided to jump on the Do It Yourself brigade. I have always been a natural blonde but had the little/major help of highlights in recent years to help maintain this. Then back in October I decided to go for the Ombre look and dye the roots-to my ear area of my hair a light brown. But like everything I got bored of this look and decided I wanted to become a glorified brunette. So I popped to my local chemist and picked up a home hair dye kit. The one I chose was Garnier Nutrisse Creme in Moocha 5 Brown. (Pictured below.)
The kit included an applicator bottle of Developer Creme, a tube of nourishing Colour Creme, a bottle of nourishing conditioner, a pair of gloves and an application leaflet. I would explain how I did it but honestly the instructions are so easy to follow and the whole process was so easy. (Believe me, if a klutz like me can manage it any one can!) The only suggestion I would make is to have someone on standby like your Mom,sister, roommate whoever, just to make sure the dye is even applied on the back of your head. Other than that there is no mess,no fuss, just a gorgeous new 'do. And now for the before and after pictures... Dun Dun Dun!!!
Here is a snap of my hair colour taking over the Christmas period.
Aaaaand here is a picture I took on my Blackberry (hence the poor quality!) yesterday.
Speaking as someone who religiously went to hair dressers and was abit skeptical about the Do It Yourself approach, I can safely say I am converted. So much so I spent part of my day checking out L'oreal Ombre colours. But all in good time..I need to come to terms with losing my blonde locks first!!
So as always I ask for opinions. Do you think the Do It Yourself approach is worth while? Or would you prefer to let your locks be looked after a professional?
Also I am very excited at the moment because although I spent too much (sorry bank balance) I bought a few items online today that I cannot wait to arrive. One being a dungaree styled playsuit from Topshop. (Oh the excitement!). So expect a post on them in the next few days. And apologies are owed for the poor picture quality in this post..Me and my digital camera are not on speaking terms at the moment as it is not doing what it's told!!!
Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this post. More to come in the next few days.

Do it like a Dude.
Boyfriend Jeans:River Island, Shirt:Mango, Heeled Boots:Asos, Watch: River Island.
This is a look I will be most definitely recreating in the new few weeks..Cool,edgy,stylish and a little bit sexy-PERFECT! Now ye should all know that any one who knows me would tell you all that I don't do jeans. Not skinny, not wide leg,not straight cut..nothing!! I honestly haven't worn a pair of jeans for over two years at this stage. The reason for this is because I gave up a long time ago trying to find a pair that I really liked and felt looked good. And then I spied this pair on River Island Online..and it was love at first sight! What's not to love? Their effortlessly cool and can be worn both on a night out or for a daytime look. Daytime and Night time covered..that's a win win!
For a night time look I would pair these jeans with this white shirt from Mango loosely tucked in, along with these gooooorgeous boots from Asos. Add this watch from River Island for a lil bling (How cute is it?!) and a few rings of your choice to add your own personal touch. A tailored blazer or leather jacket over this and you are good to go. Sexy without a thigh or boob in sight!!
So what do you gals think? Would you style the jeans like this? Or would you work them another way? Or would you even wear these styled jeans? 'Each to their own' and all that jazz!!
I hope you enjoyed this post ladies. Stayed tuned for another update.

A Snoop Inside My Make-Up Bag.
Hiya Ladies,
Right so whether we like to admit it or not we all love to have a poke through our sister's or friend's make-up bags. Just to do the routine 'Is this any good?' or 'Oooh I'll have to get this myself' nose around! (Please say it's not just me!!) So I am so kindly making the snooping session easy and letting ye all have a peak at what is in my make up bag along with my personal opinion on it.
My most coveted product at the moment is Benefit's 'Hello Flawless' custom powder cover-up.
Now I have had this powder once before and I fell absolutely in love with it, so I was sure to put it on my Santa list this year! Obviously because it would be more expensive than other powder foundations I try my best to spare it. (Try and fail!). When I first purchased it I was abit reluctant as I get quite alot of blemishes on my skin, but honestly I really find it amazing. It feel so light when applied and really does cover up leaving a flawless finish. It also comes with both a brush and sponge so you have the option of which to use. But it most definitely is something I recommend..so much so I'll be sure to put it on my Birthday Gift list..or atleast drop a few hints!! Cough Cough!
Sticking with Benefit another product of theirs that I recently bought is High Beam.
At the risk of sounding like someone who is just swooning over everything by Benefit, I have to admit that I am loving this. It just adds that extra something to my over all make-up look. I mostly wear this on nights out but every so often when I am feeling like putting that extra effort into my day look I pop some of this on. I apply three dots along each cheek bone and a dot on my temple and then dab it-instant shimmer. An absolute must buy if you find yourself standing at a Benefit counter not knowing what to buy. (As opposed to wanting to buy everything!)
Now that's enough from Benefit! I am a true believer in budget make-up. For the sheer fact that I am extremely forgetful and knowing my luck, I would leave a make-up bag full of expensive buys in a taxi or nightclub bathroom. (It's happened before!!). And hey who says you can't look fabulous on a budget? There are two affordable brands with great products that I absolutely swear by. Those being Catrice Cosmetics and 17 Make Up Products available in all Boot's stores. So I am going to keep it simple, bar a few Benefit cosmetics ALL of my make up bag is made up of these products. Mascara,Eye Shadow,Eye Liner,Blusher,Lipsticks,Primer..you name it...I have it..and all from Catrice or 17. I would add some photos of these products but with the amount I own..this would be going on for quite some time! All the products can be found in the links above.
So that's a little insight into my make-up bag but my two main adored items I think I have raved enough about-Can you guess what they are?!! What about you guys? Any make up product you just couldn't live without? Please do let me know in the comments below as I am always looking for another product to try out. Or if you have any questions about the Catrice or 17 products please don't hesitate to ask.
Hope you guy's enjoyed this post and serious preparations are being made for some outfit snaps so keep an eye out for those.
